A final draft would have the potential to allow for a gadget tha has been built as a, say, an Google Desktop Gadget to also be run as a Microsoft Gadget in the Windows Sidebar.

I have been following this site for a few days and I think that a centralized site specifically for developers of gadgets is a great idea and one that I would definitely support.
